Swell Glass Style Featured in Striking Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel in Southport, NC
Share
We are delighted to feature this lovely kitchen and bathroom remodel designed by Deborah Blomfield with Brunswick Design Interiors. This project features our beautifully opaque Arctic Swell 767 shades in gray over the kitchen island.
In contrast, our transparent Swell 763 shades in gray are a sophisticated addition to the bathroom vanity lighting.
The Arctic Swell style provides a uniquely softened lighting experience. The shades have the classic swell band of glass applied around the outside but are then fully frosted bringing an elegant, enigmatic feel to the lighting. With this frosted glass, there is the added benefit of fully obscuring the light bulb inside the fixture, creating a more gentle lighting experience. Those with sensitive eyes should consider the Arctic Swell as a good alternative to our quintessential Swell style.
We appreciate the way our gray shades complement the island that features Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray (SW6205) and the walls which feature Sherwin Williams Dover White (SW6385).
The gray shades and walls act as a bridge between the white marble countertops and the stainless steel appliances, giving the entire kitchen a sharp modern color palette.
The distinctive arch in the swell band of glass lends an organic feel to the space which correlates beautifully to the veins that run through the Quartz Calacatta Classique quartz counters and backdrop. This brings a harmonious feel to the entire kitchen.
In the bathroom, our brushed nickel sconces with their delicately curved sconce arms fit effortlessly with the rounded metal framing of these Pottery Barn mirrors and the satin nickel finish of the Delta Lahara faucets.
Even with the lights turned off, our Swell shades provide an eye-catching design. The cool gray coloring acting as a focal point and providing contrast to the Hutton Vanities from Restoration Hardware in gris and the Viatera Minuet quartz countertops as well as balancing the Kamari Anthracite stone flooring from TileBar.
Overall, we could not be happier to have our eco-friendly handcrafted glass shades featured in these kitchen and bathroom installations. Interested in our Swell and Arctic Swell shades?
