Advice for Fellow Renovators

After living through delays and a few contractor missteps, the couple shared a few tips for fellow renovators:

Interview your project manager and make sure you understand every phase of the work before it begins.

Be your own advocate. Pay for materials directly and keep them on-site if needed.

Set clear expectations—especially with subcontractors—to help protect your home and your peace of mind.
